Snapped this pictures last night as I came back to work for the evening. Gabe and I were chatting on the phone when I got out of my truck and was awestruck at God's beauty. I told Gabe I would post the picture. It was a gorgeous thunderstorm rolling in.
White on top blending from light orange to dark orange to black silhouetted in a an electric sky blue. Lovely.
My fellow "weather nerd" posted some pictures she took like 5 minutes before me. My fellow "weather nerd" used to give me a hard time last year when I would walk out of my office and look out the window and enjoy the thunderstorms. Thanks pal!! :) Now I have a window all to my own to enjoy.
I had a great time last night just sitting and watching out the window at all the lighting and hearing the hail pounding on the roof. I am looking forward to spring.
I have been talking to Gabe about getting a Canon 20D camera and I am strongly considering it. There is so much to shoot here, especially in the spring and summertime.
it was an incredible sight. honestly, i hadn't seen thunderheads that big in years. it was SO exciting - especially when everything turned black.
